Lloyd Byford just missed out on his third maximum of the season when he was beaten in his last ride by Darcy Broad. Still, his 14 points were enough to give him top spot. A run-off for second place was required after Wayne Josephs and Chris Holmes finished on 12 points. Josephs winning after rounding Holmes coming off the second bend. Broad rode well for 10 points and a semi-final place beckons. Irishman Damien Flaherty looked good for his 9 points and he was followed by a trio of riders on 8 points. Those being Ethan Ashby, Nick Turner and Ryan Betts all in their first season and all showing signs of great potential.
