Hayden Wood put his up and down GP form to one side to storm to victory in the British Final ahead of Luke Treadwell and Scott Bridges, the latter winning a run-off against Dennis
Groves and Jamie Vaughan to finish 3rd. With GP riders guaranteed at least a place in the GP Challenge Treadwell, Groves and Vaughan were joined in the GP Challenge Semis by Sam
McCurdy and Mark Black. Scott Newstead narrowly missed out to Black on countback for the final qualifying spot and will now have to wait and see if the GP Committee think he is
worth a place in one of the 2 Wild Card places for the next round of the qualifiers.
